President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday said Ukraine was calling for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, following a deadly barrage of Russian strikes across the country. 

"Ukraine is currently initiating an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council due to the Russian strike on civilian infrastructure, including the children's hospital," the president wrote on X.
