India to host New Zealand, Bangladesh for tests
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the schedule for India's 2024-25 home season, with the team set to play 16 matches, including two Tests against Bangladesh and three Tests against New Zealand that are part of the World Test Championship, according to Cricbuzz.
Bangladesh will tour India from September 19 to October 12. Chennai will play host to the first Test while the second Test will be held in Kanpur. This will be followed by three T20Is to be played in Dharamsala, Delhi and Hyderabad.
New Zealand's Test tour of India starts on October 16 with the first Test in Bengaluru. Pune will host the second Test while the final Test will be held in Mumbai.
After touring Australia from November 2024 to January 2025 for a five-match Test series, India will return home to host England for a limited-overs series, which includes five T20Is and three ODIs, to be played from January 22 to February 12. The T20Is will be held in Chennai, Kolkata, Rajkot, Pune and Mumbai. Nagpur, Cuttack and Ahmedabad will host the three ODIs.
