Trump invites Tarique to national prayer breakfast

US President-elect Donald Trump has invited BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and two other senior leaders of the party to attend the US national prayer breakfast in Washington.

 National Prayer Breakfast is a yearly event held in Washington, DC, usually on the first Thursday in February each year.

The other invitees are BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the party’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir received the official invitation on 10 January, confirmed Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, on Saturday.

Shayrul added that the National Prayer Breakfast is scheduled to take place from February 5 to 6 in Washington, DC.  The event is an annual gathering that brings together political, business, and religious leaders from around the world for discussions and prayers focusing on global peace and unity.
