BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Wednesday urged the administration to strictly control the law and order situation as 'a plot is on to destabilise the country'.
 
"I like to call upon the administration to ensure security of all people so that no one feel insecure. We have to ensure it fast ", he said.
 
Tarique made the call while addressing virtually a mammoth rally in front of BNP's Nayapaltan Central office.
 
He also called upon the country's people and all political parties to resist the current anarchic situation.
 
"I specially called the BNP leaders and activists of all levels across the country to stand by all people irrespective of their religions, party and opinion to ensure safety," said Tarique.
 
He also called upon the country's people not to take law into their hands.
 
Tarique also urged the people to catch if any one tries to indulge in vandalism and violence even in the name of BNP and hand him/her to the administration.
