The low pressure area over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean has intensified into a well-marked low over the same area.

“It is likely to intensify further. Its associated trough extends up to North Bay,” said a Met office bulletin on Sunday.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it said.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night till early morning.

Night and day temperature may fall slightly over the country, it added.
