Bangladesh Army Chief General Walker-Uz-Zaman has called an officers' address at Dhaka cantonment on Saturday noon to brief on country’s situation.

All the officers of Dhaka, Mirpur and Savar cantonments, educational institutions (NDC, DSSC, MIST and BUP) have been directed to participate ‘in-person’ at the officers’ address at Sena Prangan in Dhaka Cantonment.

The Mirror Asia has seen a copy of the invitation letter sent from Army Headquarters on Friday. The letter directed all officers (including those appointed on deputation) to take seat in combat uniform by 1 pm.

The logistics area of ​​the army headquarters will manage overall responsibility at the officers’ address will.  The officers from the cantonments outside Dhaka will connect to the army chief's address through VTS of the force.

The Signal brigade, MI Directorate, IT Directorate, Welfare and Rehabilitation Directorate, AdHoc MP Directorate, CMES have been directed to fulfill their respective duties during the assembly.
