Students Against Discrimination announced a 'complete shutdown' of the country on Thursday.

“Only hospitals and emergency services will remain open—no vehicles will drive on the road except for ambulances,” read a statement of the platform issued on Wednesday night.

The protesters have called upon every school, college, university, private university, madrassa student across the country to make tomorrow's programme a success.

“To our parents, we are your children. Let’s stand by us to protect this generation. The movement is not only for the students, but for all people of the country regardless of their party affiliation,” said the statement.
