BNP has decided to intensify public awareness efforts through leaflet distribution, rallies, and processions to protest against corruption, soaring inflation.

The decision came in a virtual meeting, chaired by Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, held on Monday night, the party said in a statement on Tuesday.

The party also strongly condemned the recent shootings of two Bangladeshis by the Border Security Force (BSF) at the Lalmonirhat and Thakurgaon borders. 

The BNP criticized the government's inaction in addressing the border killings and called on relevant agencies to take immediate and effective measures to prevent further incidents.

"The government has failed to create pressure on India to stop the border killings. That is why such killings are occurring frequently," said the statement.
