More than 35 people were killed in a building fire in an area heavily populated with foreign workers in Kuwait, the interior ministry said on Wednesday.

More than 30 people were also injured, a hospital official told Interior Minister Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef as he visited victims, according to footage posted by Al-Jarida newspaper.
