A fire broke out at the factory of Gartex Garments Limited in Chattogram city on Wednesday morning.
Six units of the Fire Service are working to control the blaze, confirmed Md. Abdullah, Deputy Assistant Director of Ctg Fire Service.
"Two units from our Agrabad office have already arrived at the spot," he said.

The fire broke out at the garment factory around 10:45 am. Garment workers suspect that the fire started from an electric short circuit.
Security guard Bishwendra Das said, “All the clothes in the factory were burnt. Our people and locals are trying to douse the fire.”
