Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested former commerce minister Tipu Munshi conducting an overnight drive in Gulshan area of the capital city.

"The elite force has arrested the former minister from a house at Gulshan-1 in the capital at 1.15am", said senior Assistant Director of Legal and Media section of RAB headquarters and Senior ASP ANM Imran Khan.

Munshi was arrested on charge of killing Jewellery shop worker Muslim Uddin Milon in the firing during the anti-discrimination student movement, he said.
